The Community Residents come from all over the United States and Canada. About half live here year-round and half come to escape the harsh northern winters.
There are many activities (see our Activities page for a peek). The residents have regularly scheduled activities, like: bowling and golf leagues, bingo, mahjong, various card games, and frequent day-trips and other activities throughout the year.
But, there’s no pressure to do anything you don’t want to. If you like sitting in the Lanai, watching reruns of Mannix, we won’t judge.
Beacon Terrace’s location, along Harden Boulevard just north of the Polk Parkway, provides easy access to the many nearby shopping, entertainment and fine dining establishments. The Parkway provides quick and easy access to I-4 and the beaches and attractions of the Bay Area to our West and Orlando’s Theme Parks to our East.
More than anything else, what makes Beacon Terrace a wonderful place to live are its residents – The Beacon Terrace Community – who are pleasant, caring and just genuinely nice.
